Structural Modification Design

In November 2019, a customer request was made to see if the existing design could withstand the repositioning of 6 antennas with the addition of 11 RRHs. Our team carried out a structural analysis to evaluate the structural capacity of rooftop installation. During the analysis, it was found that the existing antenna support frames are inadequate to support the proposed loading. After notifying the customer of this, a counter request was made to create a design to strengthen the structure.

Our engineers have prepared relevant reports showing that the existing structures need reinforcement. All three mast pipes have been reinforced with spacers that are 2 feet taller than the previous ones. Thus, the structural capacity  increased, making it possible to update the arrangement of equipment and increase the safety of operation.
